Foreigner est un groupe britannico-américain de hard rock, originaire de New York. Il est formé en 1976 par deux musiciens britanniques reconnus, Mick Jones anciennement guitariste pour Spooky Tooth et Ian McDonald, multi-instrumentiste ayant joué avec King Crimson et McDonald and Giles, ainsi qu'un chanteur américain jusqu'alors inconnu, Lou Gramm. Foreigner est leur premier album studio.
